BATHING

We provide bathing and grooming of cats.  Cat owners sometimes have a difficult time combing out their pet.  We take special care to calm the cat to encourage their cooperation.  In some cases where the cat is fearful or aggressive about being groomed, we have the ability to administer an anesthetic, comb and bathe the cat and it is discharged later the same day.  This is easier and less traumatic for the cat.  We only do this after consultation with the owner. If an anesthetic is to be given,  preanesthetic blood tests are encouraged to ensure a safe outcome in every case.

We can also give dogs and cats medicated baths.  We have a variety of medicated shampoos to treat all sorts of skin conditions.

We include cleaning ears, clipping nails, and expressing anal glands with all baths.
